Cherry Mobile Phones – the Who and What
The fact that the a Filipino-owned phone manufacturer Cherry Mobile has entered the market is a testament to how the market for such internet-enabled devices has exploded over the last couple of years. Now Cherry has decided to go up against the early entrants into the smartphone and tablet business in the Philippines.
Cherry Mobile is intent on diversifying, and recently launched a range of Android products, where customers can multitask between applications on cherry mobile phones and enjoy a refined game/play interface.
How can Cherry Mobile Phones compete with the big guys?
Even though it will be tough to compete with the branded competitors like LG and Samsung, Cherry Mobile Phones offer an alternative choice for Filipinos. Instead of adopting a me-too attitude, the company has brought something new to the local market, in offering a more affordable option – they have come into the market with an attractive price proposition in those sectors (phones, tablets) that they want to compete in.
Although there is a suspicion that Cherry Mobile Phones have compromised quality to reach the low price tags of between P4,000 and P17,000 for tablets, the company has assured consumers that this is not the case and that they feel their mobile phones and tablets are on a par with the more established international brands.

IPhone Recovery Problems Resolved
Sometimes, technology fails us. This is true of MP3 players, laptops, and especially mobile phones. Many people make the mistake of thinking that the iPhone is immune from this. However, this is not the case. Unfortunately, when something goes wrong with an iPhone many people automatically go into panic mode when in fact, they should be putting their iPhone into recovery mode. Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t know how to do this. So, for those of you who don’t know anything about iPhone recovery, here is a brief how-to.
First of all, in order to enter into iPhone recovery mode you are going to have to connect your iPhone to your PC, Mac, or laptop. You can do this with the cable that you came with your phone. Once you have done this, open up iTunes from your desktop. After this step, you are going to need to hold down the ‘Home’ button and the ‘Sleep’ button at the same time and keep them held down until the screen of your iPhone goes completely black. This is how you know that you have entered the iPhone recovery mode.
